We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate is a builder at heart who thrives in high-autonomy environments, enjoys solving complex problems, and is eager to help shape our product and engineering practices from the ground up.

In this role, you will work closely with the CTO and take ownership of key initiatives across backend and frontend development, infrastructure, and security. Your contributions will have a direct impact on our platform, customers, and company trajectory.

What You Will Be Doing:

• End-to-End Ownership & Autonomy: Take full ownership of features and initiatives, moving independently from understanding user requirements , technical design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.
• Frontend Development: Bring intuitive user interfaces to life by developing and enhancing our Vue.js 3 frontend, delivering seamless user experiences for accounting professionals.
• Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations using our Python/Flask backend, ensuring code quality, scalability, and reliability.
• Monitoring & Instrumentation: Implement instrumentation and monitoring for both new and existing features, enabling rapid detection of issues and data-driven improvements.
• Infrastructure Provisioning: Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform, maintaining robust and reliable deployment pipelines.
• Security Best Practices: Ensure all systems and deployments adhere to strict security and compliance standards, applying industry best practices throughout the stack.

What you bring:Must have:

• 5+ years of professional experience in building and scaling web applications
• 3+ years of proven experience developing backend with Python, Flask with SQLAlchemy OR 3+ years of proven experience building performant, scalable frontends using VueJS3 or ReactJS;
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct practical research to inform architectural and product decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills—able to articulate technical concepts to teammates and stakeholders.
• Track record of thriving in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments—able to take ownership from problem definition through deployment.
• Experience with observability, adding monitoring, creating dashboards and alerts.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures and secure, compliance-driven environments.
• Familiarity with accounting, fintech, or workflow automation products.
• Experience with LLM APIs like OpenAI and frameworks like OpenAI Agents SDK, Langchain, and PydanticAI
• Experience in programmatic manipulation of Word DOCX files using pydocx.
• Experience with Tiptap or Prosemirror, rich text editors.
• Diagramming Libraries: Familiarity with VueFlow or ReactFlow.
• Experience improving performance on both frontend and backend.
