Web Designer – CSS Template Creation

This role is ideal for a creative web designer with a strong command of CSS, tasked with developing new one-page website templates. The primary focus is on crafting visually distinct themes by modifying and extending existing static HTML through CSS override files. You will receive a high-level brief and example files, but there is significant scope to inject your own design sensibility into each template. The project involves producing up to 10 unique template styles, each requiring thoughtful layout, color, and typography choices to ensure a diverse set of deliverables. This is a remote, short-term opportunity, well-suited to designers who enjoy hands-on CSS work and rapid prototyping. Deliverables

• Design and implement up to 10 unique CSS template styles for a one-page website
• Create override CSS files based on provided HTML and reference CSS
• Ensure each template has a distinct visual direction, including layout, color schemes, and typography
• Test templates for cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness
• Deliver clean, well-documented CSS code for each template
• Collaborate remotely and communicate progress as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in web design with a strong portfolio of CSS-driven projects
• Proficiency in HTML and advanced CSS, including layout, selectors, and responsive design techniques
• Ability to interpret briefs and translate concepts into polished, user-friendly templates
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to clean, maintainable code
• Experience working with static sites and override CSS files
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and deliver on short timelines
• Reliable internet connection and availability for remote collaboration
