HireGlobal by Toptal makes it simple and cost-effective for US companies to hire, pay, and manage global talent. HireGlobal is a new business within Toptal, so this is an exciting opportunity to build something new with access to resources and know-how from our core platform. HireGlobal’s Growth Product Manager will be one of the key players driving progress and scaling the business, working closely with Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Design. We take a data-driven and customer-first approach to ensure our roadmap delivers measurable business impact and a best-in-class user experience.
We’re looking for a self-starting Growth Product Manager to lead and drive progress across the board: from expanding and refining HireGlobal’s product offering to driving go-to-market efforts, working closely with our marketing team on SEM, SEO, marketing campaigns, landing pages, and every subsequent point in the user acquisition funnel. You will partner closely with the GM to set the vision, prioritize the roadmap, and deliver high-impact outcomes.

Responsibilities:

- Own the Growth Funnel: Relentlessly focus on the top of the funnel (acquisition, activation) and key conversion metrics across the entire HireGlobal customer journey, from initial visit to revenue.
- Rapid Experimentation: Design, prioritize, and execute a high-velocity, data-driven testing and experimentation roadmap to optimize conversion rates.
- Cross-Functional Growth Driver: Work closely with Marketing on SEO/SEM and landing page optimization, Engineering on implementation, and Sales/Operations to ensure seamless handoffs and post-conversion success of HireGlobal clients.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Break down complex growth problems, using advanced analytics (SQL proficiency is a plus) and qualitative user research to inform product direction and quantify business impact specifically within the global employment market.
- Roadmap Leadership: Own the agile process for the growth area, including backlog grooming, triage, and prioritization, ensuring alignment with overarching HireGlobal business KPIs.
- 0-1 Mindset & Collaboration: As a key member of a growing team, be prepared to step in and lead efforts outside the strict product domain—this could include content strategy, sales enablement materials, payments, and billing feature prioritization and operational process improvements. We’re building this from the ground up, and an “all hands on deck” approach is required.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Establish and maintain high-level credibility with internal and external partners (Finance, Legal, Sales, Marketing) to drive alignment on growth initiatives.
- System Analyst: Apply system-analyst techniques to define functional specifications for growth-enabling features, focusing on high-leverage integrations with HRIS or global payment/FX systems.
Qualifications and Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a technical discipline.
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 3 years explicitly focused on Growth (Acquisition, Activation, Conversion).
- Proven track record of driving significant, measurable growth in a B2B SaaS environment is non-negotiable.
- Deep expertise in optimizing digital funnels (SEM, SEO, landing pages, in-product activation) and using iterative testing to achieve results
- Exceptional analytical skills: must be comfortable with Google Analytics, SQL, and other growth tools to derive insights and justify product investments related to HireGlobal’s funnel performance.
- Track record of leading products end-to-end from discovery, rapid experimentation, launch, and iteration.
- A true 0-1 mindset: Ability to thrive in ambiguity, take initiative on non-traditional PM tasks, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment within a larger company.
- Strong expertise in using data to make decisions with a variety of tools and methodologies to gather and synthesize information.
- Be meticulous and have a high bar for quality when writing user stories, reviewing designs, brainstorming technical approaches, and testing a feature before it is released.
- Be humble, willing to learn, and do whatever is needed to help us accomplish our goals.
