Your Role The Manager, Software Engineering is responsible for leading our to lead our Digital Payment Transformation initiatives. This individual will lead multiple Agile teams comprised of highly skilled engineers responsible for migrating legacy payment applications to modern cloud-native systems using the AWS Serverless stack. This role will also focus on the design and management of APIs and integrations crucial to deliver secure, scalable, and customer-centric payment solutions. As an engineering manager will work closely with product, design, and architecture teams. Your Work

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and handle multiple Agile teams comprised of highly skilled engineers working on AWS Serverless technologies, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Digital Payment Transformation: Oversee the technical delivery of digital payment solutions, including the migration of legacy payment platforms to modern, scalable AWS-based applications.
• Cloud Architecture and Integrations: Provide technical direction and support for designing cloud-native architectures using AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.), and oversee the integration of various internal and third-party systems to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient payment processing.
• Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, architecture) to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software aligned with business goals.
• API Management: Lead the design, development, and management of RESTful APIs and microservices that power digital payment solutions, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient communication between systems.
• Technical Leadership: Guide your team in best practices for coding, cloud infrastructure, Api design , integrations, and DevOps processes. Perform code reviews and ensure the team’s work adheres to high-quality standards.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the point of contact for leadership and stakeholders, providing clear communication on technical challenges, progress, and risks associated with digital payment transformation.
• Legacy Application Modernization: Develop and implement a roadmap for migrating existing legacy systems to a modern, cloud-based architecture, ensuring minimal disruption to current business operations.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest technology trends, particularly in cloud services and payment solutions, to recommend and implement innovative approaches that improve business outcomes.
