Senior NodeJS Developer for a fintech project

Responsibilities:

• You will build large-scale back-end services to support millions of active users in a distributed environment
• You will build integrations with different payment providers
• You will develop workflows for background jobs processing
• You will design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• You will take care of application performance and scalability

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience with Node.js
• Experience with JS web frameworks (e.g., Express, Fastify )
• Experience with JS test frameworks for unit/integration tests (e.g., Jest, Cypress)
• Experience with microservice architecture
• Experience with REST API
• Experience with Queues / Message Brokers (Kafka, AWS SQS, etc.)
• Knowledge of common design patterns, SOLID principles, etc.
• Knowledge of NoSQL / SQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB / PostgreSQL )
• Able to write, speak and understand English comfortably (ideally on Upper-Intermediate level or higher)
• A team player with good collaboration and communication skills

Nice-to-have requirements:

• Experience with gRPC, Cassandra DB / ScyllaDB
• Experience with Temporal
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS or GCP)
• Experience in the Fintech industry or implementing and integrating Payment systems
