About The Role The Full Stack Developer at Gorilla Commerce will play a pivotal role in architecting, building, deploying, and monitoring applications that underpin the company's core business operations. This position requires a deep understanding of business context, enabling the translation of functional requirements into scalable, resilient, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will utilize the latest AI-assisted tools and techniques to enhance development efficiency and application intelligence. Responsibilities include developing web applications using component-based frameworks like ReactJS on the front end, and Python or C# on the back end. The role also involves designing and managing databases, developing APIs, and ensuring the security and performance of all systems. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of full stack development experience in a corporate environment
• At least 5 years of experience working with component-based front-end frameworks such as ReactJS
• Strong expertise in database management and optimization, including relational and NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of AI‑DLC and Test‑Driven Development methodologies
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as C# and Python
• Experience with .NET Core is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications utilizing ReactJS for the front end and Python or C# for the backend
• Implement new features, optimize existing code, and ensure applications are scalable, efficient, and resilient
• Create and maintain APIs and backend services, ensuring security, documentation, and performance standards are met
• Design, develop, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases such as Postgres and MongoDB
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices to continually improve development processes
