Our client is building an AI-powered automation platform transforming how enterprise insurance organizations process complex workflows, documents, and operational decisions.

Backed by leading investors and following a successful Series A, they're entering a significant growth phase and scaling their engineering team to support increasing customer demand and product expansion.

They're looking for a backend-leaning Senior Product Engineer with strong Python expertise who enjoys building products, solving complex technical challenges, and taking ownership from idea through to production.

This is a full stack engineering environment. Engineers contribute across backend systems, product development, infrastructure, and customer-facing functionality, working closely with product and design to solve real business problems.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building AI-powered workflow automation products used by enterprise customers
• Developing scalable backend services, APIs, and distributed systems
• Contributing across the stack using Python and React
• Owning features from design through deployment and iteration
• Working closely with product and design teams to solve customer challenges
• Improving platform scalability, reliability, and engineering quality
• Helping shape technical direction during a key stage of company growth

What They're Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience
• Strong Python backend development experience
• Experience building and shipping production SaaS products
• Frontend experience with React (or Angular)
• Strong understanding of APIs, scalable systems, and modern software architecture
• Product-minded engineer who enjoys ownership and fast-paced environments
• Startup or scale-up experience highly desirable

Nice To Have

• Experience building AI-enabled products or LLM workflows
• Exposure to Insurtech, Fintech, or regulated industries
• Experience with workflow automation or orchestration systems
• Experience building customer-facing SaaS products
