Senior AI Data Engineer- up to 300k TC

Help build the AI-ready data platform powering the next generation of legal technology products. This Senior AI Data Engineer role sits at the intersection of modern data engineering, cloud architecture, and artificial intelligence, owning the foundation that enables analytics, automation, and AI agents across a large-scale SaaS environment serving more than 100,000 legal professionals.

You will lead the development of a modern lakehouse platform on AWS, building scalable data pipelines, transforming complex business logic into governed data models, and establishing the data quality, lineage, and governance standards that support critical business operations. The role also plays a key part in the company's AI strategy, helping create the semantic layers, governed metrics, and MCP integrations that allow AI agents to interact with trusted business data.

Working closely with engineering, product, and AI stakeholders, you'll take ownership of the platform end-to-end while helping define best practices around dbt, data modeling, and lakehouse architecture. You'll also mentor junior engineers and help drive technical decisions across the team.

The ideal candidate will have experience with dbt, modern lakehouse architectures, the AWS data ecosystem, SQL, Python, Apache Iceberg, and data modeling. Exposure to AI-enabled data platforms, semantic layers, MCP integrations, or machine learning infrastructure is a plus.
