• 12 month day rate contract opportunity, strong possibility of extension beyond this
• Offering: $800-900 including super per day
• Location: Work Remotely from anywhere in Australia
• Contribute to the ongoing development of a sophisticated internal system built in Google Sheets
• Work collaboratively alongside 2 other expert Google Sheet / Google Apps Script Developers

Please Note: To be considered for this role, you must already have had extensive experience building projects in Google Sheets and utilising Google Apps Script. This role is not for a JavaScript Developer looking to gain more experience with or learn Google Apps Script

What you’ll be doing?

• In this role, you’ll be contributing to the ongoing development of a large-scale, sophisticated system built in Google Sheets. There is currently over 50, 000 lines of Apps Script code in this code base
• Working collaboratively across projects with 2 other experienced Google Sheet / Google Apps Script Developers
• This will be the 3rd Google Sheet / Google Apps Script Developer joining the team, and this person will also be working closely alongside a Product Manager and a Product Owner in the team
• Implementing new feature requests from users, and troubleshooting any user issues
• Producing and maintaining documentation for the Google Sheet System
• From time to time, this role may involve training new users of the system and educating them on how to best utilise it

What you’ll bring?

• Strong experience building multiple complex projects in Google Sheets / Google Apps Script
• Strong programming experience with Google Apps Script
• Strong experience utilising Google Sheet Formulas
• Deep knowledge of database structures
• A problem-solving attitude – someone who likes to investigate the root cause of issues and resolve them for users
• Accountability and ownership – someone who can become one of the owners of this system and become a subject matter expert for this system
• Great interpersonal and communication skills – someone who can work well collaboratively with technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders
