Job Description

Posted on: April 14, 2026

This role will help scale the growth of our AI Dubbing offering – a cutting-edge platform that uses artificial intelligence to deliver high-quality, scalable dubbing for global media and entertainment content. Sitting within RWS’s Media and Entertainment business, the products combine proprietary AI voice and speech synthesis with human-in-the-loop production workflows.

We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused Product Manager to lead the development of our AI Dubbing platform – initially focused on internal production workflows that power our dubbing operations, with a clear path to commercialisation as a customer-facing product as part of our AI-Native content orchestration platform. This role is central to our objective of scaling high-quality dubbing at speed and volume across a global content market, through intelligent, automated, and user-centric tools.

Working with our talented engineering team in Cluj, Romania, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a platform that streamlines dubbing production, quality review, and content delivery workflows – leveraging AI to enhance speed, accuracy, and scalability across a global customer base. Experience in AI-driven product development, media workflows, or content localisation will be a strong advantage.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & Vision

  • Define and own the product roadmap for the AI Dubbing platform, covering both internal production tooling and the path to a commercialised, customer-facing product.
  • Align product goals with business objectives and the evolving needs of IP holders, major studios, broadcasters, OTT platforms, and other M&E customers.
  • Architect and own the end-to-end production platform, taking responsibility not just for individual features but for the overall product infrastructure and the operational foundation needed to scale.
  • Define the tools, processes, and systems that enable the product team to operate effectively as the business scales from an early-stage product into a mature, commercially deployed platform.

Execution & Delivery

  • Translate business requirements into detailed product specs and user stories.
  • Manage the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch and iteration.
  • Continuously deliver value by prioritising features based on impact to dubbing quality, production efficiency, and the commercialisation roadmap.
  • Build and evolve product discovery practices, ensuring the team consistently identifies and validates the right problems to solve before building.
  • Implement and refine PM processes that improve how the team plans, prioritises, and delivers against the roadmap.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the product and engineering teams.
  • Own the transition from early product stage to large-scale adoption, ensuring the platform and its supporting workflows scale with growing demand.
  • Build both the product and the operational workflows that support it, ensuring tooling and processes evolve together.

AI-Driven Innovation

  • Collaborate with engineers and AI researchers to integrate and improve AI capabilities within the dubbing platform – including voice synthesis, lip-sync, translation quality, and automated quality review through development or partnership.
  • Have a deep understanding of the AI dubbing landscape, including the leading companies in the space (both large and startup), the latest technologies, and evolving business models. Identify opportunities to apply your understanding to improve dubbing quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.

User-Centered Design

  • Partner with UX teams to ensure the platform is intuitive and optimised for both internal production teams and, as the product commercialises, external M&E customers globally.
  • Conduct user research and testing with dubbing professionals, content producers, and studio partners to validate product decisions and improve usability.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with commercial, operations, engineering, and content teams to deliver a secure, scalable, and production-ready platform that meets the demands of global M&E workflows.
  • Build and manage relationships with studio partners, broadcasters, OTT platforms, and technology partners to drive integrations, co-development opportunities, and licensing arrangements.

Data & Performance

  • Implement analytics to monitor platform performance, production throughput, dubbing quality metrics, and customer outcomes.
  • Use data to drive continuous improvement and inform strategic decisions.

M&E Industry & Workflows

  • Develop deep understanding of the media and entertainment supply chain and production workflows – from original content creation through localisation, post-production, and distribution – to ensure the platform solves real operational problems for customers.
  • Engage regularly with studios, broadcasters, and OTT platforms to understand their dubbing and localisation challenges, informing the product roadmap with direct customer insight.

Partnerships & Integrations

  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic integrations with content management systems, MAM platforms, and distribution tools used across the M&E industry.
  • Work with commercial and legal teams to shape licensing arrangements and partnership agreements that support the growth of the AI Dubbing platform.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally within media & entertainment, AI dubbing, content localisation, media localisation, dubbing production, or an adjacent technology-driven industry.
  • Strong understanding of M&E production workflows, content localisation, and the operational demands of studios, broadcasters, and OTT platforms.
  • Experience building or managing AI-powered products, particularly those involving audio, speech, video, language, machine learning, or speech synthesis technologies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen – comfortable engaging with both technical teams and senior M&E industry stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with AI dubbing, voice synthesis, or automated translation technologies is a strong plus.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment, comfortable with ambiguity, rapidly shifting priorities, and building with limited structure.
  • Strong UX orientation and customer-centric decision-making, with experience applying jobs-to-be-done (JTBD) frameworks to product discovery and prioritisation.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ability to apply data analysis to inform product decisions and measure outcomes.
