Core Java Developer (Remote)

Currently hiring on behalf of an award-winning technology provider of front-office foreign exchange technology. The firms high-performing trading solutions enable billions of dollars in daily transactions, their customers include global banks, brokers and investment firms.

As a Core Java Developer you will play an integral role in the growth, maintenance and support of real-time foreign exchange trading applications. Responsibilities will include the implementation of new features to match specifications, implementation of unit tests, issue troubleshooting and resolution, and identifying performance bottlenecks.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of working experience
• Exceptional core Java skills as a backend developer without reliance on frameworks. This primarily involves deep understanding of Java specifics of collections, multithreading concurrency, memory utilization, and performance..
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent, or significant relevant work as a computer programmer

Nice to have:

• Experience developing front-office trading technology for processing market data, submitting orders, and handling executions.
• Experience developing multi-threaded real-time systems with low latency measured in microseconds.
