Job Description:

We are seeking a Lead Java Developer to join our dynamic and growing team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java-based application development, architecture design, and team leadership. You will be responsible for leading a team of developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-performance Java applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Design and architect scalable and secure backend services using Java, Spring, and related frameworks.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Drive technical decisions and contribute to the overall system architecture.
• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and proper documentation.
• Manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and track progress using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development and post-deployment phases.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA, and RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with front-end technologies like Angular, React, or Thymeleaf (optional but preferred).
• Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
