Back End Developer

Backend Developer – Node.js, Python, or JavaFully Remote | Long term Rolling Contract

Our client is seeking an experienced Backend Developer. You’ll play a key role in building and optimising scalable backend services for high-performance applications.

Responsibility:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, Python, or Java
• Design and manage databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB)
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs
• Implement security best practices and performance optimisations
• Containerise services with Docker and work in an Agile environment

Experience:

• 3+ years’ backend development experience
• Proficiency in either Node.js, Python, or Java
• Strong database skills with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• RESTful API and Docker
• (Nice to have) Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) & microservices architecture
• Must have strong communication
• A self starter able to work in a remote setting

Contract details:

Fully Remote / Rolling Contract / Outside IR35

Day rate: circa £300-400pd depending on experience.

Equivalent to Circa £60-65k but with the benefits on contracting
