Python Backend Engineer - AI & ML Infrastructure

What you’ll do:

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services for ML/LLM features using Python and FastAPI.
• Optimize and manage databases (Postgres, MongoDB, Milvus) for high-performance storage.
• Enhance observability and reliability for distributed, asynchronous workloads.
• Integrate with OpenAI APIs and agentic frameworks to deliver advanced AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers, mentor peers and drive architectural decisions.

Tech stack: Python (async/await, Pydantic), FastAPI, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS (EKS, ECS, S3), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Airflow, Milvus.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience in backend engineering and asynchronous Python.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, distributed systems and containerization.
• Familiarity with LLM integrations and vector search systems.
• Excellent communication skills and English proficiency.

Nice to have: Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana), OpenAI Agents SDK, and LLM prompt engineering.
