Salary: $200,000 – $300,000 base, along with significant equity

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Director of Engineering who thrives in high-growth environments and enjoys balancing deep technical work with team leadership. In this role, you’ll spend approximately 75% of your time on technical responsibilities—including architecture design, code reviews, and solving complex engineering challenges—and 25% on people management, mentoring, and guiding a small, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive architectural decisions and own critical parts of the tech stack
• Conduct in-depth code reviews and contribute to technical problem-solving
• Lead the development of scalable systems and intelligent infrastructure
• Collaborate with product and design teams to shape and deliver features
• Mentor and grow a small team of engineers, supporting their development
• Foster a strong engineering culture grounded in quality, innovation, and ownership

• Proven experience in senior or leadership engineering roles at fast-paced startups
• Strong architectural thinking and deep technical expertise
• Comfortable writing and reviewing high-quality code
• Effective communicator and mentor with a collaborative leadership style
