Senior Android Mobile Developer

Location: Remote (with physical presence in Georgia or Poland)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled SeniorAndroid Mobile Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin to design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class mobile experiences while ensuring scalability, security, and smooth integration with backend services. This role also requires leadership in setting technical standards and mentoring junior developers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Android applications primarily in Kotlin.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver new features.
• Integrate apps with RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and cloud platforms (AWS, Firebase, or Azure).
• Ensure applications meet performance, usability, and security standards.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and guide junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
• Stay updated on emerging Android frameworks, libraries, and best practices.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of proven Android development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, architecture patterns (MVVM/MVC), and UI/UX principles.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, background tasks, and push notifications.
• Familiarity with Google Play Store deployment process and app lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Firebase/Azure) and tracking/analytics tools.
• Strong debugging, optimization, and performance tuning skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Georgian language is a plus).
• Previous startup or fast-paced environment experience is highly desirable.
