Java Software Engineer

Hi,

Our client a global consultancy company based in Poland is looking for their client in the insurance industry for Java Senior Developer.

Your key responsibilities

Work as a Java Senior Developer to contribute in various streams of implementation in Insurance projects:

• Collaborate with agile team members to achieve project and client goals
• Analyzing requirements and translating business requirements into designs
• coding, testing, debugging and documenting software applications
• Provide leadership and guidance to other technical professionals

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong java knowledge
• Cloud knowledge/experience -> AWS/Azure
• Knowledge/experience with Kafka or other message broker
• High communication skills
• Problem solving and independence mindset

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Hands on experience working with microservices architecture
• Experience in Insurance or Banking sector
• Experience or knowledge in Insurance core platform
• Certificates proving certain skills: Java, Spring, SQL, AWS or Azure Cloud
• Experience in agile / scrum methodology

Contract : Freelance

Start date: 5.01.26

Duration: 1 year + extension

Rate: 70PLN per hour - 170PLN per hour (Depending on experience)

Conditions: Full remote in Poland
