About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team for a 6-month fixed-term contract. This home-based position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work remotely, with occasional site visits to our Bristol office. As a Data Analyst at Pontoon, you will be instrumental in managing and analyzing HR data, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of critical organizational information. Your insights will directly influence decision-making processes, helping to optimize our HR strategies and operational efficiency. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis and management, with excellent attention to detail. Relevant qualifications include a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in handling large datasets, performing data cleansing, and working with HR or organizational data is highly desirable. Proficiency in data management tools and software such as Excel, SQL, or other data analysis platforms is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders are also important. Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and missing information within key HR data sets, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
• Collect, validate, and accurately enter employee and organizational data into the HR system, adhering to data standards and confidentiality protocols.
• Perform data cleansing activities, including correcting errors, resolving duplicates, and standardizing information to improve overall data quality.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure data reliability for decision-making processes.
• Regularly communicate progress, data quality issues, and potential risks to relevant stakeholders, providing clear and actionable updates.
