Join us on our mission to transform lives by simplifying money, together.The Role We’re looking for two exceptional Engineering Managers to lead full-stack teams building Monarch’s core product experience. You'll drive technical execution across our web and mobile platforms, while also helping to shape our engineering processes during a period of hyper-growth. We’re Hiring For The Following TeamsTracking & Collaboration - Build features that give users a clear picture of their financial world, including transactions, investments, accounts, reports, recurring expenses, retail sync, collaboration, and household management. Planning & Advice - Create experiences that help users plan ahead and take action — budgets, goals, AI-powered insights, the Monarch Method, and financial guidance tools. What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers while remaining hands-on with code and architecture
  • Establish engineering best practices, code quality standards, and development processes that enable rapid iteration while maintaining product reliability
  • Partner closely with Product and Design leads to translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Develop technical roadmaps and guide the team in delivering high-quality solutions
  • Participate in recruiting and hiring to build a diverse and talented growth engineering team

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience with 2+ years in a technical leadership or management role
  • You consider yourself "product-centric" and take pride in building something people love.
  • You have superb written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical teammates
  • You have experience with early-stage company best practices including rapid iteration with robust metrics and qualitative user feedback.
  • Technical vision and ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term architectural goals

Nice To Have’s

  • Experience with both web and mobile development
