Why We Are Hiring

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to join on a contract basis working as a key member to one of our cross-functional product development teams as we build and scale our SaaS platform in C#/ React

This is an opportunity to utilise your breadth and depth of engineering knowledge and expertise to make a real impact within our Tech4Good product environment.

You’ll bring a passion and bias for action for solving complex design challenges and the know-how to balance simplicity and flexibility with performance and scalability.

You’ll actively champion high standards and be a role model within your team. Empowered to introduce new ideas, encourage experimentation and act as an SME to others. With proven experience of promoting good agile practices, you’ll support our Tech Lead in fostering rapid, high-quality engineering that ensures quality is baked in.

Working closely with product managers, the Tech Lead, and others in refinement sessions, you’ll help to guide the shape of the technical approach, breaking down work effectively and accelerate delivery.

What We Are Looking for:Technical

• In-depth software development experience, ideally across multiple stacks with a proven background in modern C#/.NET environments.
• Skilled in front-end development using modern frameworks, specifically React.
• Leads by example to instil a strong focus on building high-quality, well-tested solutions through unit testing, automated coverage, and continuous integration.
• Actively participates in code reviews, architecture decision-making, and hands-on development.
• Experienced in building and maintaining cloud-hosted systems and pipelines, ideally in Azure Environments
• Experience of designing and developing APIs.
• Solid understanding of non-functional considerations such as security, performance and scalability.
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases, especially SQL Server.
• Passionate problem-solver with a focus on process improvement and automation.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, pragmatism, and a high sense of responsibility.
