Retail Data Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our growing team and help us transform raw data into actionable insights for the Greek retail market. Location: Remote (Greece)

Contract Type: Fixed-term contract

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and work with retail data from the Greek market (e.g., receipt-level data, product categorization, customer behavior).
• Build reports and assist in developing models to uncover trends and generate business insights.
• Contribute to the design and improvement of data structures and processes for retail analytics.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, etc.) to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and business stakeholders to translate business questions into data-driven insights.
• Keep up to date with new tools, methods, and trends in data analytics and retail.

Requirements:

• Greek speaker (candidates based in Athens will be considered a plus).
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or another quantitative field.
• 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience in data analysis (experience in retail or FMCG analytics will be a strong advantage).
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience with Python (pandas, numpy, etc.) and SQL.
• Familiarity with BI/dashboarding tools (Power BI preferred).
• Exposure to retail-specific data (receipt scanning, SKU-level granularity, product categorization) is highly valued.
• Eagerness to grow into more advanced modelling, statistical analysis, and machine learning over time.
• Organized, proactive, and collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English.
