Senior React / Python / AWS Engineer – AI & Generative AI Solutions

Our partner is looking for a Senior React / Python / AWS Engineer - AI & Generative AI Solutions based in the United Kingdom. This role is focused on building next-generation cloud-native applications powered by AI and generative AI technologies. You will work across the full stack, combining modern frontend development, backend engineering, and AWS cloud architecture to deliver scalable, high-performance systems. The position involves designing and deploying end-to-end solutions that integrate LLMs, AI agents, and data-driven services into production environments. You will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and data teams to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions. Accountabilities You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack applications that leverage React, Python, and AWS services. The role includes building scalable backend services, integrating AI capabilities into production systems, and ensuring high performance and reliability across distributed architectures. You will also contribute to architectural decisions, CI/CD practices, and cloud-native design patterns while working closely with cross-functional teams.

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, and Python
• Design and implement scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Build and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS using services such as Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch
• Integrate Generative AI capabilities, including LLMs, AI agents, and prompt-based systems
• Work with microservices and event-driven architectures to support distributed systems
• Collaborate with data engineers on pipelines and analytics solutions using tools such as Databricks, PySpark, and Delta Lake
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve system reliability
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Requirements You bring strong full-stack engineering experience with a focus on cloud platforms and modern AI technologies. You are comfortable working across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers, and you have practical experience deploying scalable systems in production. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to operate independently in a fast-moving environment.

• Strong experience with React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Proficiency in Python for backend development and API design
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, Glue, Redshift, CloudWatch)
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL services
• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-powered application development
• Experience integrating AI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Azure OpenAI
• Understanding of AI agents, prompt engineering, tool calling, and agentic workflows
• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems
• Familiarity with Databricks, PySpark, and data engineering concepts
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in Agile environments
