AI Product Manager

About the role

We’re looking for a sharp, creative, and analytically minded AI Product Manager to shape how we design, prompt, and evaluate cutting-edge AI products for Insight Timer, the world’s largest meditation and wellness community. This role blends product strategy with hands-on prompt and context engineering, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity and structure.

This isn’t a prompt-ops role buried in a lab. Your work will directly shape how millions of people around the world experience calm, focus, and self-connection through AI. You’ll help define how prompts, evaluation systems, and context frameworks come together to create thoughtful, human-centered product experiences.

You’ll work closely with our Head of AI, backend engineers, product managers, and design teams to shape the next generation of AI-powered experiences on Insight Timer. Key Responsibilities

• Own the product layer of AI features, from prompt strategy to structured context design and evaluation frameworks.
• Design and refine prompts that drive high-quality, reliable outputs across conversational and generative AI use cases.
• Run experiments and evaluations in platforms like LangSmith to iterate quickly and improve model behavior.
• Partner with engineering and research teams to align prompt and context strategies with broader product goals.
• Develop and maintain evaluation pipelines and structured testing methodologies.
• Communicate clearly and persuasively with cross-functional stakeholders to shape product direction.

Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to think both creatively (great prompt craft) and quantitatively (clear evaluation and iteration).
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, context design, or LLM-driven products.
• Comfortable working with experimentation tools (e.g., LangSmith, LangChain evaluators, or similar).
• Some experience with Python, enough to run experiments, tweak scripts, or collaborate effectively with engineers.
• Product mindset first: you see prompts as a product surface, not just an implementation detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with evaluation frameworks or user feedback loops for AI models.
• Background in product, UX writing, or applied linguistics.
• Familiarity with LLM architecture and emerging AI product design patterns.
