This is not a traditional Product Manager role.
We're looking for someone who enjoys being as accountable for commercial outcomes as they are for customer experience. Someone who gets excited by pricing strategy, competitive positioning, product performance and finding new ways to grow a customer base in a highly competitive market.
Working remotely, you will be joining a newly established consumer business unit, you'll play a critical role in shaping and growing mobile and broadband products designed specifically for Australians living and working in regional, rural and remote communities.

The Opportunity
As Product Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of consumer telecommunications products, driving both product strategy and commercial performance.
Working closely with senior leadership, marketing, operations, customer experience and technology teams, you'll identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition, optimise pricing, strengthen value propositions and deliver a superior customer experience.
This is a hands-on role with no direct reports, suited to someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and making things happen.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Own product performance across mobile and broadband services
- Develop pricing models, business cases and commercial recommendations
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends and customer behaviour
- Drive product enhancements and new initiatives from concept through to launch
- Analyse acquisition, churn, usage and profitability metrics to inform decision making
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and operational outcomes
- Influence product roadmap decisions and future growth opportunities
- Help establish best-practice product management capability within a growing business unit
About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong commercial thinking with a customer-first mindset.
You'll likely bring:
- Experience in Product Management within telecommunications, subscription-based services and products
- Strong commercial acumen with exposure to pricing, margin management, business cases and growth initiatives
- The ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable product decisions
- Knowledge of customer acquisition, retention and lifecycle management
- Experience working across multiple stakeholders without formal authority
- A passion for improving customer outcomes while delivering sustainable commercial results
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
It would be highly regarded if you had exposure to mobile, MVNO, broadband or connectivity services.
