Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a LLM Java Developer to work on a full-time basis. The engineer will collaborate on the definition, design, and delivery of new features with cross-functional teams. The company is developing the next generation of dialog agents for education, entertainment, and general question-answering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, high-quality code to train and optimize AI models.

• Conduct evaluations (evals) to benchmark model performance and analyze results for continuous improvement.

• Evaluate and rank AI model responses to user queries across diverse domains, ensuring alignment with predefined criteria.

• Lead supervised fine-tuning (SFT) efforts, including creating and maintaining high-quality, task-specific datasets.

• Collaborate with researchers and annotators to execute reinforcement learning with human feedback (RLHF) and refine reward models.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend development.

• Experience with training and optimizing large language models (LLMs).

• Ability to design and execute evaluation strategies for AI model performance.

• Familiarity with supervised fine-tuning (SFT) and reinforcement learning with human feedback (RLHF).

• Strong problem-solving and technical reasoning skills for AI model alignment.
