Role Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented User Research Assistant / Operations Research Analyst to support research initiatives focused on user behavior, operational performance, and process optimization. This role is responsible for collecting and analyzing data, conducting user and operational research, identifying trends and inefficiencies, and providing insights that support product improvement, business performance, and strategic decision-making.
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate user experiences, assess operational workflows, and develop evidence-based recommendations. This position requires strong research skills, quantitative analysis capabilities, and the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research through surveys, interviews, questionnaires, usability studies, and behavioral analysis.
- Collect, organize, validate, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources.
- Evaluate user needs, preferences, behaviors, and pain points to support product and service improvements.
- Analyze operational processes, workflows, and performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
- Support the development of research methodologies, study designs, and data collection frameworks.
- Prepare research reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive summaries.
- Monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics to assess effectiveness and efficiency.
- Assist in designing and evaluating experiments, pilot programs, and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain research databases, documentation, analytical models, and project records.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define research objectives and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Present research findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts through data-driven insights and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent research, problem-solving, and data interpretation abilities.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and identify meaningful trends and patterns.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Familiarity with research methodologies, survey design, and data collection techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
