You'll join our small but growing engineering team at an exciting inflection point - we're small enough that you'll have real influence on how we work, our technical decisions, and our engineering culture, but established enough that you'll have the support and context you need to be effective from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain full-stack web applications (PHP/Laravel backend, Vue.js frontend) serving hundreds of thousands of users globally
• Work with dynamic sports data and volatile betting markets where performance and reliability matter
• Write clean, scalable, well-tested code that handles real traffic and evolving features
• Hunt down bugs and performance issues proactively, keeping experiences smooth and fast even under load
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to solve real user problems and shape what we build
• Contribute to code quality through thoughtful testing, reviews, and continuous improvement
• Bring fresh ideas to help us stay ahead in tech, UX, and the sports betting space

What We’re Looking For:

Core Technical Skills:

• Strong experience building modern web applications with PHP (Laravel) and Vue.js (Vue 3, Nuxt 3, and TypeScript)
• Comfortable across both frontend and backend, excited to tackle diverse technical challenges
• Write clean, scalable code with solid test coverage and commitment to continuous improvement
• Stay curious and adaptable, always learning new tools and best practices

How You Work:

• Care deeply about the craftsmanship behind building quality products that users love
• Love working in fast-moving, agile teams - sharing knowledge, giving feedback, lifting others up
• Comfortable using AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate development and curious about building AI-powered features for users
• Bring empathy, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence to how you work with users, teammates, and stakeholders

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience building applications with Tailwind CSS
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, Lambda, DynamoDB)
• Exposure to both relational and NoSQL databases
• An interest in sports/sports betting

• JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
• Vue.js (Vue 3, Composition API with Script Setup) and Nuxt 3 for SSR/static sites
• Tailwind CSS for rapid, responsive UI development
• Vite and Webpack for fast, modern build tooling

Backend:

• PHP with Laravel, and Python
• MySQL (relational DBs) and DynamoDB (NoSQL for scale and flexibility)
• Composer for PHP package management

Infrastructure & DevOps:

• AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, DynamoDB)
• Vercel for frontend hosting and deployment
• Git for version control and team collaboration
• Node/NPM for frontend tooling and build automation
