Junior Data Software Engineer

We are seeking a Junior Data Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of data-driven solutions. You will play a key role in supporting data engineering tasks and implementing efficient solutions to meet business needs. Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines and workflows for processing large datasets
• Write and optimize SQL and NoSQL queries to support data storage and retrieval needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions
• Work on data integration projects to ensure seamless communication between different systems
• Contribute to data quality initiatives by identifying and resolving inconsistencies in data sources
• Participate in Agile development processes to deliver high-quality results in a timely manner
• Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data processes and workflows

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and scripting tasks
• Experience with Databricks for building and managing data pipelines
• Strong knowledge of SQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases for managing structured and unstructured data
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
• Familiarity with Agile practices and processes for software development
• English proficiency at a B2+ level or higher, with strong communication skills for collaboration and documentation

Nice to have

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for data storage and cloud computing
• Familiarity with implementing SDLC processes in data engineering projects
