You will be responsible for building the server-side of our web-oriented solutions, translating our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications. Required Skills:

• Algorithmic mind
• Good theoretical knowledge of computer science (words like patterns, recursion, pointer, stack, tree structure etc shouldn't frighten you)
• 5+ year of professional, relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of Java language (JMM and threading model included)
• Good experience with a well-known infrastructural framework (Spring Framework, Vert.x, Micronaut etc)
• Solid understanding of software engineering techniques, methodologies and practices (OOP, algorithmic problem solving skill)
• Good understanding of client-server application principles, network applications and protocols, such as HTTP
• Experience working with relational and noSQL databases and ORM frameworks
• Experience with an enterprise-grade queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS
• Experience integrating with external APIs (REST, GraphQL etc)
• Experience of writing unit tests
• Spoken technical English

Will be a Plus:

• Experience of performance optimization of an existing solution (DB optimization and concurrency optimizations are included)
• Knowledge of any other backend programming language (e.g. Python, Go, Rust)
• Understanding of domain-driven development principles (DDD)
• Experience with deployment of back-end applications (e.g. Docker, Terraform, Ansible, AWS (Lambda, IoT), CI/CD)
• Experience of writing and debugging concurrent applications. Understanding of multithreading model of Java
• Fluent English
