What You'll Do

Take responsibility for the implementation phase of a large website redesign project, including:

• Building robust, visually stunning front end components using Next.js (React & Typescript) with vanilla-extract
• Implementing Sanity’s headless CMS to provide a best-in-class authoring experience
• Efficiently migrate content from the current website with perfect accuracy (eg. WordPress, Sitecore)
• Implement 301 redirects and SEO best practices as advised by our marketing team
• Integrate with relevant APIs (eg. email, CRM, observability, analytics etc)
• Set up deployments in Netlify for staging and production environments
• Conducting comprehensive Quality Assurance to test functionality, ensure responsive design, and verify feature performance across devices and browsers, including accessibility, performance, and security checks

Demonstrate strong collaboration, communication and mentorship skills

• Work closely with the Tech Manager to align on implementation and quality standards, ensuring the project meets technical expectations
• Coordinate with the Project Manager (PM) to track progress and ensure timely delivery, addressing roadblocks as they arise
• Collaborate with the design, tech, and PM teams to bring ideas to life as envisioned, ensuring high-quality execution
• Provide a confident voice for the technical perspective in project meetings
• Communicate clearly, proactively and respectfully with clients and your colleagues
• Mentor other developers, providing guidance on best practices, code reviews, and technical problem-solving
