About The Company Cloudera is a leading provider of enterprise data cloud solutions, empowering organizations to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights. • Hands-on experience with Docker, Maven, SonarQube, Harness, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as Postgres or RDS
  • Familiarity with cloud essentials, especially Kubernetes and AWS
  • Experience contributing to open-source projects is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex security issues
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience with large-scale software development, testing, and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

  • Learn and familiarize yourself with Cloudera’s product ecosystem, development lifecycle, and security tools
  • Identify opportunities to improve developer productivity through tooling and frameworks, including AI/ML tools for CVE remediation
  • Design and develop proof-of-concept solutions and enterprise-class products to enhance vulnerability management and remediation processes
  • Evaluate and improve existing security tools such as SCA, SAST, DAST, and explore new technologies for vulnerability detection
  • Integrate security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines to streamline vulnerability detection and fixes
  • Contribute to the development of proactive dependency management strategies and enforce CVE SLAs and accountability
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices and timely vulnerability resolution
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, team meetings, and reporting on key metrics such as CVE debt reduction and SLA adherence
  • Assist in defining security protocols and contribute to continuous security improvement initiatives

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Flexible remote working environment
