Founding Engineer

BioSonic redefines biodiversity measurement with nature recordings and AI sound classification (which we built from scratch). Customer demand is exploding and need someone to own the product.

• The Role Build and own everything product-related: data pipelines, infrastructure, customer experience. Work with founders to define what we build and where we go.

You

• Think most companies move way too slow
• Take extreme ownership and pride in your work. You don't wait for instructions, you figure it out
• Have worked in a startup and loved the pace
• Automate everything (if you do it twice, you script it)
• Are extremely driven and want to build something impactful and new
• Are a creative problem solver who thrives on novel challengesTechnical

• Python (automation, scripting, backend)
• AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, the whole ecosystem)
• JavaScript/React

Bonus

• Databases and SQL
• Comfortable with hardware and server setups
• Converted web portals to desktop

Location

• Remote + optional coworking in Stockholm/Gothenburg with the founding team.
