About The Role We are seeking a talented and experienced backend developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building the core infrastructure that powers our platform. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining secure and scalable APIs, data processing pipelines, and integrations with third-party services such as Stripe, PayPal, and Open Banking providers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend and mobile engineers, product managers, and founders, to deliver high-quality features and ensure system robustness. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development, preferably within a startup or SaaS environment. Proficiency in .NET, Core 8, Razor Pages, and Bootstrap 5 is essential. You should have extensive experience working with databases such as MongoDB and SQL Server, including schema design, indexing, and performance optimization. Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Azure, is required, along with experience in containerization tools like Docker and deployment pipelines. A strong understanding of API design, versioning, and security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and API tokens is necessary. Additionally, you should be comfortable working with Git, agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices. Knowledge of data protection regulations like GDPR and fintech security standards is also important. Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs to support mobile and web clients, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Design and manage databases using MongoDB and SQL Server, focusing on efficient data storage, querying, and aggregation of user financial information.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion pipelines to process real-time and batch data from external sources and services.
• Implement security best practices by developing authentication and authorization flows, safeguarding sensitive financial data.
• Enhance backend performance, scalability, and resilience to support growing user demands.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and product teams within an agile framework to deliver seamless features and solutions.
• Contribute to infrastructure decisions, including containerization, cloud deployment, and orchestration strategies.
