Akkodis is seeking a Business Process Analyst for 11 Months Contract at Mebane NC (Remote)Rate Range:$56/hour - $60/hour.; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Mostly remote (Mostly remote meaning contractor might be asked to come in occasionally to attend a meeting depending on their location. This might happen once or twice a month)
Job Title: Technical Business Analyst - Product Configuration Tools
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Technical Business Analyst to support the development and enhancement of product configuration tools. This role bridges business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that tools deliver accurate, efficient, and user-friendly configurations aligned with product requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Documentation: Assist in capturing and documenting functional requirements and specifications for product configuration tools.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D and Product Management teams to align tool functionality with product strategies and technical feasibility.
- Product Rule Development: Define and implement product rules to ensure valid and compliant product configurations.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate functionality, performance, and quality of configuration tools.
- User Training & Support: Provide training sessions, user guides, and ongoing support to ensure effective adoption and utilization of the tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in documenting functional requirements and creating test plans.
- Familiarity with product configuration systems and rule-based logic.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with technical and business teams.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with configuration management tools or CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) systems.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements.
