About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated iOS Engineer to join our expanding engineering team. This remote role, based in the United States with a preference for candidates in the US-Pacific timezone, offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of our flagship mobile application. As an iOS Engineer at GrabJobs, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, firmware, data, backend, and science teams to deliver innovative features and improve user experiences. You will be responsible for writing high-quality, maintainable code, participating in architectural decisions, and ensuring the seamless integration of new functionalities into our app ecosystem. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about health, wellness, and technology, eager to push the boundaries of what mobile applications can achieve in the recruitment industry. Qualifications To excel in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in iOS app development, with a strong proficiency in Swift and modern iOS architectures. Experience working with third-party libraries, frameworks, and collaborative development in complex codebases is essential. Familiarity with git, version control workflows, and a focus on code quality through unit testing and manual testing are required. Candidates should have a solid foundation in computer science principles, design patterns, and system architecture. While not mandatory, additional experience in areas such as Swift structured concurrency, Combine, UIKit, SwiftUI, CoreAnimation, CoreGraphics, ML algorithms, data privacy, and performance optimization will be considered advantageous. Preferred candidates will demonstrate ownership of projects, experience working asynchronously across time zones, and familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies. Additionally, you will coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams such as firmware, data, backend, and science to implement integrated solutions, ensuring seamless functionality across hardware and software components. Your role will also involve participating in code reviews, troubleshooting bugs, optimizing app performance, and contributing to the overall technical strategy of the mobile platform.
