We’re looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions that ensure software quality and reliability. This role is ideal for someone passionate about testing, automation, and continuous improvement in a remote-first environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Execute automated and manual tests for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to define test strategies and requirements.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and track issues to resolution.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve test coverage, reliability, and performance.
• Document test plans, test cases, and automation processes.

✅ Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in software testing, QA automation, or related roles (internships or project experience accepted).
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar).
• Programming or scripting skills (Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar).
• Understanding of software development and testing life cycles.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time.
