Senior Area Sales Manager – Maritime SectorLocation: Remote (UK-based)
Reporting to: Commercial Director
Contract Type: Permanent
Travel: Frequent UK travel required
We are seeking an experienced Senior Area Sales Manager with a proven track record in the maritime industry. The ideal candidate will bring established client relationships and industry insight to drive growth across engine, electrical, and service sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet commercial targets
- Secure new accounts and distribution agreements
- Lead tenders and contract negotiations with value-based pricing
- Maintain CRM discipline and provide accurate reporting
- Expand distributor and partner networks
- Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in maritime sales with existing industry contacts
- Strong CRM proficiency (Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
- Skilled in bid management, pricing strategy, and account development
- Technically literate in diesel power generation and marine systems
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable with remote working
