Web Developer (Volunteer, Pro Bono)

Professors Without Borders (Prowibo) is looking for a skilled volunteer Web Developer to strengthen our digital presence and help us share our story with the world. About Us Prowibo is an international charity dedicated to improving access to quality higher education worldwide. Inspired by the model of Doctors Without Borders, we deploy volunteer educators to institutions across the Global South. Our work directly supports UN Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education. We operate in more than 16 countries, reaching students often overlooked by mainstream systems, and engage with a growing global community online. The Role This is a voluntary, pro bono role for an experienced web developer who wants to use their skills for meaningful global impact. You will help maintain and improve our website, ensure accessibility and performance, and make sure our digital platforms effectively communicate our mission. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise our website (front-end and back-end).
• Improve functionality, performance, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
• Design and implement new features or landing pages, including improvements to the donation page.
• Provide technical guidance on best practices for website management and digital security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in web development and/or design.
• Familiarity with Elementor, CSS, SEO, and UX/UI principles.
• Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility best practices.
• Experience with donor integrations or nonprofit organisations (a plus, not required).
• Self-motivated, reliable, and aligned with Prowibo’s mission.
