You’ll be one of our first engineering hires and work directly with our founder, designers, and media team to shape the foundational infrastructure of our product. We are small, nimble, and deeply focused on quality—this is a unique opportunity to help launch a platform from the ground up.

The Difference You’ll Make

As our Staff Full Stack Engineer, you’ll lead the development of our core product architecture—starting with a beautifully built native iOS experience in Swift. You’ll define and implement a scalable front-end system, contribute to backend infrastructure, and partner closely with design to bring polished, intuitive interactions to life. You’ll help us establish strong engineering foundations that extend across mobile and web.

A Typical Day

• Lead development of our native iOS app in Swift, with clean, scalable architecture and interaction fidelity.
• Build modular UI components and integrate design tokens to ensure consistency across platforms.
• Collaborate with designers to translate high-fidelity designs and animations into seamless, real-world interactions.
• Set up infrastructure for mobile and web front-ends, including theming, accessibility, and testing systems.
• Contribute to back-end integration work (APIs, authentication, data modeling) as needed.
• Work with media infrastructure (e.g., Cloudinary, Mux, AWS) to optimize image/video delivery.
• Write clean documentation and support internal tooling to onboard future engineers.
• Participate in hiring, mentoring, and building a culture of quality, ownership, and pragmatism.

What You Bring

• 6+ years of experience in full-stack or mobile-first engineering roles, ideally in consumer or creative tech
• Strong experience with Swift and native iOS development (SwiftUI or UIKit)
• Experience with web front-end frameworks (React or similar), HTML/CSS, and design systems is a plus
• Proven ability to design and scale component libraries and systems from scratch
• Familiarity with media delivery pipelines and performance optimization
• Comfortable with ambiguity and balancing velocity with high-quality craft
• Clear communication and strong opinions loosely held
• Experience building in early-stage or ambiguous environments
• A bias toward simplicity, momentum, and learning
