Full-Stack Software Engineer (Entry Level) (Remote)

Job_Summary:

Pitchit is an AI startup focused on transforming sales processes through technology. As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the web application, collaborating with the AI/ML team, and influencing the product roadmap while ensuring performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain the customer-facing web application using Django (Python) for the backend and Next.js/React for the frontend.

• Build scalable APIs and database schemas to support new features and AI-driven functionality.

• Collaborate closely with the AI/ML engineering team to integrate cutting-edge AI features (e.g., machine learning models, automation agents) into the product workflow.

• Own the full software development lifecycle: write clean, well-tested code; deploy updates on AWS; and monitor performance, security, and reliability.

• Work with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, scope projects, and deliver solutions that align with business goals.

• Advocate for best practices in development and contribute to shaping the technical roadmap and engineering culture at Pitchit.

Qualifications:-Required:

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering, with hands-on experience in both backend and frontend development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

• Proven track record of building and deploying end-to-end web applications that are performant and scalable. Experience with Django and Next.js (React) is required.

• Proficient in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with a strong understanding of modern web development frameworks and tools.

• Experience with asynchronous, event-driven systems using message brokers (E.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ) for processing.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, especially AWS (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3), and familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Ability to independently own projects and drive them to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering features with significant business impact.

• Curious and growth-oriented mindset; comfortable thinking from first principles to solve problems and propose creative technical solutions.

• Excellent communication skills and teamwork, with an emphasis on clear documentation and knowledge sharing.
