Rust Software Engineer - $180K - $230K- Remote - Start Up

James Chase Solutions is currently looking for an experienced Rust Software Engineer for my fantastic client based in the US. You will help build and scale the backend systems powering developer platform. You’ll work on distributed, high-performance infrastructure that supports millions of blockchain transactions and helps shape how developers build on Solana.

Main duties –

• Build and maintain backend services in Rust, focusing on scalability and performance.
• Integrate new features into existing infrastructure.
• Debug, profile, and tune performance in high-scale production environments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and frontend teams to integrate features and unblock development.

You will be a highly experienced Project/Change Manager with strong experience of -

• Proficiency in Rust is required.
• Experience in building or maintaining production systems.
• Experience at a reputable Web2 company
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and database fundamentals.
• Ability to work autonomously, move fast, and deliver high-quality code.
• Hard science degree (e.g., Computer Science, Applied Math, Physics etc.), bonus if from top ~50 university.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Bonus: Web3 or blockchain experience or familiarity with Solana.
